Blake Davis
Blake Davis is a director, cinematographer, and photographer based in New York and Los Angeles, and the founder of Dreamtone. He built the studio around one idea, keep the whole process, from first pitch to final cut, under one roof.
His work spans documentary, narrative, brand, and music, with footage licensed worldwide through Getty Images under the name Blake Dvs. Recent credits include the feature Can’t Let It Go, broadcast news production, and music videos shot with labels and independent artists alike. Between commissions he shoots the city itself; his “Empty Streets of NYC” series hangs as fine-art prints in the studio’s print collection.
In Los Angeles he produces for Signature Tracks, painted a commissioned mural inside the Beverly Hills offices of film and television company Above The Clouds, and holds producer and drone operator credit on Sho Madjozi’s “Huku” under FAX Records.
